HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW ABOUT
Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) is an honorific title used by Muslims to show respect and reverence for the Prophet Muhammad, who is considered the last and final messenger of God in Islam. "SAW" stands for "Salla Allahu Alayhi Wa Sallam," which translates to "Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him."
Prophet Muhammad was born in Mecca, present-day Saudi Arabia, in 570 CE. He received the first revelation from Allah (God) through the angel Gabriel at the age of 40. These revelations, which continued for approximately 23 years until his passing, form the basis of the Islamic holy book, the Quran.
His life and teachings have had a profound impact on billions of Muslims worldwide, shaping their religious beliefs, ethical principles, and social values. He is considered a model of morality, compassion, and justice for Muslims to follow.
Throughout his life, Prophet Muhammad faced numerous challenges, including persecution, opposition from the ruling elites, and conflicts with other tribes. Despite these difficulties, he continued to preach monotheism and the message of Islam, eventually gaining a significant following.
In 622 CE, he and his followers migrated from Mecca to Medina, an event known as the Hijra, marking the beginning of the Islamic calendar. In Medina, he established a thriving Muslim community and played a pivotal role in resolving disputes, fostering social cohesion, and instituting just laws.
The Prophet's character, wisdom, and exemplary behavior continue to inspire Muslims to seek knowledge, strive for righteousness, and cultivate good manners and ethics in their daily lives. His teachings encompass various aspects of life, including spirituality, social justice, personal conduct, and compassion towards all beings.
It's important to note that for Muslims, referring to Prophet Muhammad, they often use the phrase "Peace Be Upon Him" (PBUH) or its equivalent in their respective languages as a sign of respect whenever his name is mentioned.
